Bruree U12s team were successfully selected as one of Limerick's representatives to visit Croke Park on the hurling day on the 11th of April. This is great news for the club and there is a lot of work going into this behind the scenes. We have been trying to get this for the last few years so its great to finally be selected! Below is a message that was sent out to parents with all the details. We hope everyone is looking forward to the Croke Park Activity Day which is taking place on Tuesday, 11th April 2023.
Please arrive for the bus at 8.15am as the bus will depart at 8.30am sharp from Bruree GAA field. We should arrive at Croke Park around 12 noon. The team is scheduled to play their first match at 1pm. There will be 3 matches against Kiltha Óg, Crotta O'Neill's & Bodyke.
At 2.30pm, only the team will then be given a tour of the Croke Park Museum. Parents & juvenile supporters will not be able to take part in the team's museum tour. On the way home, the bus will stop at Supermac’s at Junction 17, Portlaoise Plaza. The bus will be back at Bruree GAA field at approximately 7.30pm.
Total cost for players is €25; this includes their bus fare, Croke Park Tour, food at Supermac’s and a commemorative jersey designed to mark this special occasion. Please note any players born in 2010 are not eligible to play in the matches but will still get to go on the tour and will receive the jersey & food. For Adults travelling on the bus, the cost is €15 and €10 for any extra juvenile supporter.
There are some spaces left on the bus. If you would like come on the bus, can you please let us know asap as seats will be allocated on a first come first serve basis
