Dog fouling is currently becoming a major issue at the Sportsfield and this is down to non-compliance by a few owners to clean up their dog Faeces. In the last week several dog faeces were left on the playing field itself. This needs to stop now. Children & Adults train & play matches in the Sportsfield. This is a very serious matter especially with the Health and Safety implications to both children and adults. We are once again asking that all dog owners to clean up after your pets.
Note: CCTV Cameras are always in operation both on the dressing rooms and the school and we are currently reviewing these.
❗ LAW ON DOG FOULING ❗
Dog waste is very unpleasant, a nuisance and can be a public health issue. Section 22 of the Litter Pollution Act 1997 makes it an offence for a person in charge of a dog not to clean up when their dog fouls in a public place and the faeces must be properly disposed of in a suitable sanitary manner
Thanking You
