We would like to wish the very best of luck to club player Sam Williams and all the UL hurlers Freshers 2 team who go in search of yet another All-Ireland Championship title this evening.

UL will play Munster TU Cork in the All Ireland Division 2 Freshers Final in Mallow at 7.30pm.

UL reached this championship final with excellent wins over NUIG and UCC in recent weeks.

Sam Williams and UL have already won the Fresher 2's Hurling League beating Queens University Belfast on a scoreline of 1-24 to 1-14.
