Tomorrow Sunday 13th December Limerick will take to the field against Waterford in a repeat of this year's Munster Hurling Championship Final in which Limerick were victorious that day. If there was ever an early Christmas present to get it has to be Limerick winning there 2nd All Ireland Senior Hurling Championship in 3 years there 9th overall. With Christmas in full swing the Green and white covers most of the towns and villages in Limerick and what a sight it is.
Limerick have been very good this year but apart from the win over Tipperary, Limerick have yet to find top gear but are still coming out with the right result at the end of each match. John Kiely and Declan Hannon have called on all the Limerick players to give it there all and leave nothing out on the Croke Park field tomorrow.
Waterford have come in under the radar this year and there deserved win over Kilkenny in the All Ireland Senior Hurling Semi Final shows that they cannot be taken for granted. This will be 70-75 minutes of hard hitting, Skilful Hurling, Controlled Agression with the greatest players to have ever played the beautiful game of Hurling and it will be the team that wants it the most will be the team that will win it.
Were all hoping Limerick will do it tomorrow and we will all be watching them from every home and work place in Limerick and also Limerick people abroad as well as the rest of the countys up and down Ireland. The mood in the Limerick camp is excellent. Limerick have a fully fit team and panel of players. We know what this Limerick team and panel are capable of. Whatever about the opposition Limerick can and will stick to there own game plan no matter how the game is going.
We have without doubt the greatest supporters in the country and come Sunday evening we're all hoping to be celebrating a fantastic win. To John Kiely and he's management team and he's backroom team ye have all done a brilliant job and deserve this as much as anyone. To the Limerick players ye have Been a joy to watch this year especially as we the supporters cannot go to matches, Ye have giving us all huge excitement on the TV screens, We only ask for 1 more big performance.
The club would like to wish John Kiely and he's management team and backroom team and all the players in the panel and the extended panel the very best of luck tomorrow Sunday. To Declan Hannon please bring home the Liam MacCarthy cup back to Limerick again. 🏆
