Congratulations To Mike Sexton on being appointed to Referee The Limerick Intermediate Hurling Championship Final 2020 between Newcastle West and Na Piarsaigh in the LIT GAELIC GROUNDS on this Sunday September 20th at 2.00pm. Mike was the man in the middle for the 2019 County Intermediate Hurling Championship Final between Newcastle West and Glenroe with Glenroe victorious on that day. In recent years Mike has taken charge of major finals in Limerick and also took charge of the 2019 Kerry County senior hurling championship final between Causeway and Lixnaw. He was the man in the middle for the County Senior Hurling Championship Final between Na Piarsaigh and Patrickswell in 2015,also Mike was referee for the County Senior Football Championship Final in 2018 between Adare and Ballylanders. Mike has been referee on two occasions for the Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship county finals,in 2016 he took charge of Monaleen and Cappamore and the replay in 2017 between Murroe Boher and Garryspillane. He has also been referee for munster Minor Hurling Championship matches. This has been a great year once again for our club referees and we wish Mike and he's team of umpires and linesmen the very best of luck on Sunday.
