Not the result we wanted. An excellent first half by all the players had Bruree leading by 2 points at the interval 1-06 To Mungrets 0-07. Mungret hit a purple patch from the restart as they hit 8 unanswered points but the Bruree players kept going and replied with 3 points to leave the final score Bruree 1-09 Mungret 0-17. Alot of positives can be taken from this performance but the hard work will continue in training during the week. Next weekend it's the 3rd Round of the Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship as Bruree take on Kildimo Pallaskenry. Bruree may of lost but they kept going at Mungret right to the very end. Well done to players and management team this evening. Keep positive and go again during the week.
