Congratulations To Mike Sexton on being appointed to Referee The Limerick Intermediate Hurling Championship Final 2019 between Newcastlewest and Glenroe in Kilmallock on this Sunday October 20th at 3.00pm. In recent years Mike has taken charge of Major finals in Limerick and also this year took charge of the Kerry County senior hurling championship final between Causeway and Lixnaw. He was the man in the middle for the County Senior Hurling Championship Final between Na Piarsaigh and Patrickswell in 2015,also Mike was referee for the County Senior Football Championship Final in 2018 between Adare and Ballylanders. Mike has been referee on two occasions for the Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship county finals,in 2016 he took charge of Monaleen and Cappamore and the replay in 2017 between Murroe Boher and Garryspillane. He has been referee for munster Minor Hurling Championship matches. Mike will be joined by two more club referee's in John O'Halloran and David Deady who will be he's linesmen on the day. John recently took charge of this years County Senior Hurling Championship Final between Patrickswell and Na Piarsaigh.David Deady is our new and up and coming referee and will one day hope to be in charge of a major final in Limerick. This has been a great year once again for our club referees and We wish Mike and he's team of umpires and linesmen the very best of luck on Sunday.
